Shown here is a Custom Rosewood Fingerboard with a
spectacular Tahiti Black Pearl Inlay.Each of the markers has been
engraved with ancient Hawaiian stone carved figures known as
petroglyphs.This “Talk story” fingerboard is a narrative about a past
event.Each of the petroglyph characters are used to tell the story.Here
is the fingerboard story……….
The
character at the bottom of the fingerboard is Pointing Man, who sites a
major event.The details are given to the next character who is the
Messenger. The
Messenger gives the story next to the character RunningMan.After a
short fret board journey, Running Man reaches the central character,
the Communicator, and gives him the message.
The
Communicator has at his disposal a very special helmet, which can be
seen in the third fret position.
Using the special helmet, the Communicator tells a much larger audience about the special event that the Pointing Man spoke about. The Communicator, with helmet can be seen in the 1st fret position inlay marker. |
